Just wet myself watching the new Tron 2 Trailer

I know this a typography blog, but c'mon, this is cool. Plus the goosebump moment for me is when the actual type appears.

During the Disney presentation at Comic Con, they showed footage for the Tron 2 trailer that someone recorded on their cameraphone. Disney won't be releasing the actual trailer until the film is closer to being finished. Looks like it's going to stay true to the original with the kick ass Syd Mead designs and neon wireframe.

Over 70 examples of sexy, bold and experimental typography. Some examples are typographic posters, some are typographic illustrations and some are just sketches with type. In any case, you will hopefully find some inspiration for your future works. Also check out the designs of Nik Ainley featured as well.

Flogos

This is both brilliant, and horrifying. It really depends on where it's used. There's a good debate on what is off-limits to corporations. One could argue that we already have planes carrying banners. I personally feel this is a greener version than the skywriters. But I wouldn't want to see a million McDonald's logo on my drive home.
